The principals of Ridge Capital Investors have over 80 years of combined investment and asset management experience in all facets of the property life cycle, from development to major repositioning and adaptive re-use. The principals’ proven track record and extensive experience with both large and smaller scale investments enables Ridge to provide its clients and partners with a compelling investment advantage.
Trevor Wilson
Before forming Ridge Capital Investors, Trevor was the senior director of Broadreach Capital Partners, LLC overseeing the investment team in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California and Colorado. He handled direct and joint venture investment origination and execution of value-add and opportunistic transactions in all product types, including existing properties, development and land acquisitions. Trevor invested in approximately $700 million of real estate while at Broadreach.
Prior to Broadreach, Trevor was with JP Morgan Partners (“JPMP”), where he handled the firm’s acquisition and asset management activities in the western United States. Trevor oversaw joint venture investments in the office, multifamily, hotel, retail, self-storage and for-sale housing property sectors for JPMP. Before that, Trevor spent seven years with SSR Realty Advisors (now Blackrock Realty) as director of portfolio management, development, and acquisitions, focusing specifically on the development and existing property investments in primary western and mid-western markets.
Trevor has invested approximately $2 billion in office, industrial, retail, housing, land and hotel properties and developments during his 25-year career. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He is a past president of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of NAIOP and a past national board Limited Partner. Mr Wilson is also a licensed California real estate Broker (Lic# 01892726).
Brian Printz, Esq.
Brian is a Managing Director of Ridge and leads the firm’s multifamily practice. Brian has 28 years of extensive, hands-on experience in every aspect of multifamily property investment, ownership and operation. He has been involved in the acquisition, syndication, financing, renovation, ownership, management, and disposition of over 34,000 apartment units, totaling over $2.5 billion in asset value.
Prior to joining Ridge Capital Investors, LLC, Brian co-founded Bay Equity Real Estate Acquisitions LLC, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer for 14 years. His company acquired nearly 6,000 multifamily units across six states, and Brian controlled over 65 affiliated legal entities. During this time, Brian was the founder and Chief Operating Officer of Renovation General Contractors, Inc., a regional construction company that specialized in the renovation of multifamily properties for affiliated companies and third-party clients, primarily REITs, with over 60 employees and gross sales nearing $100 million. Previously, Brian served as an Asset Manager and Legal Counsel for Fowler Shore & Flanagan, where he helped grow their multifamily portfolio from approximately 5,000 units to over 26,000 units in a three-year period. Earlier experiences included positions with Bayer & August, a small law firm in San Francisco specializing in real estate and corporate law, and with Grubb & Ellis Company, at their corporate headquarters.
After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Psychology and Business, Brian earned his J.D. and M.B.A. at Golden Gate University, graduating with honors achieved. Along with his law degree, he earned a Certificate of Specialization in Real Estate Law, while his business degree was in Management, with a focus on Finance. Brian is currently a licensed member of the State Bar of California and a licensed California Real Estate Broker. He is also an active member of the Real Property Division of the American Bar Association.
David Karol
David is a Managing Director of Ridge Capital Investors and leads the firm’s office and industrial acquisitions in California, Oregon and Washington. With over 15 years of commercial real estate transactional experience he has been involved in the disposition and acquisition of over $5 billion of office, industrial, and mixed-use properties throughout Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Ridge in 2014, David served as a Director of Investment Sales at HFF in San Francisco. During his tenure at HFF, Costar recognized him as one of the top 10 sales brokers in San Francisco for both 2012 and 2013.
David received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Oregon. He is an active member of ULI and serves on the board of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of NAIOP, including having previously served as chapter president. David is also a licensed California real estate Salesperson (Lic# 01813372).
Willy Lamb
Willy joined Ridge in 2024 and plays a key role as an Associate, focused on all commercial and multifamily acquisitions. Before joining Ridge, Willy was with Walker & Dunlop’s Investment Sales team in Oakland, specializing in institutional multifamily real estate in the Bay Area and Sacramento. Willy also has experience as an investment sales analyst at Newmark. Between his time with Walker & Dunlop and Newmark, Willy has valued over $5 billion in properties.
Willy earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Santa Clara University, where he co-founded the SCU Real Estate Association to connect students with industry professionals. Now, he serves on the SCU Real Estate Advisory Board, helping to develop the Real Estate minor curriculum and expand the association’s reach. Willy holds a California real estate salesperson license (Lic# 02132698).
Taylor Huebgen
Taylor brings over 12 years of property management experience to Ridge and serves as Director of the firm’s multifamily asset management efforts. Prior to joining Ridge, Taylor worked for FPI Management, Inc. as an Executive Portfolio Manager in Northern California and oversaw an extensive portfolio of properties where she had direct oversight of all staff, policies, and procedures and was responsible for the implementation of operating budgets, statutory compliance, marketing strategies, revenue enhancement, expense control and business plans. Taylor also specialized in rehab properties and new property lease-ups for FPI’s clients.
Thomas Daniel (in Memoriam)
Thomas Daniel was an original member of the Ridge Capital Investors team and led the team’s construction management practice through 2020. Thomas guided the firm’s construction practice from his 26 years of experience managing pre-construction, construction and post-occupancy phases of office, industrial, residential, mixed-use and infrastructure projects totalling approximately 2.9 million square feet.
Prior to joining Ridge, Thomas was Director of Development Services for Broadreach Development, a subsidiary of Broadreach Capital Partners, LLC. He also served as Regional Director of Construction for Equity Office Properties in Northern California. As Regional Director, he coordinated and overseeing the management team that managed the construction of a portfolio of properties comprising 20 million square feet, and an annual improvement budget of $40 million. Thomas became Regional Director of Construction in 2001 for Spieker Properties where he directly managed the construction process for the $120 million, seven-acre, Phase I Bay Meadows Redevelopment project in San Mateo, California. Before entering the development and construction management arena, Thomas worked in several positions that led to the role of project manager for the general contractors L.E. Wentz Company and Turner Construction.
Thomas was LEED accredited, received a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University, a Bachelor of Business Administration, a major in Computer Science, from Georgia State University, and a Certificate for Construction Management from California State University.
Thomas was an amazing partner and person, and one of the best at his craft. He has left an indelible mark on everything he touched, all of which he did with such ease and confidence.
